Dr Tavakoli's Clinical Nurse Specialist - Sue Burke

As a Registered Nurse for 30 years, Sue has been Dr Tavakoli's Clinical Nurse Specialist since his practice opened in March 2007. Sue assists Dr Tavakoli with all patient medical and surgical enquiries, whether it is by taking your detailed medical history, measuring you for surgical implants or looking after all your aftercare education and wound management.
Sue is on hand for all your post operative dressings and after surgery concerns. But her role is also to support patients’ pre and post operative after hours on the Emergency phone.
Sues role doesn’t stop there, with her special talent for reducing those ageing fine lines and wrinkles Sue is Dr Tavakoli’s and Luxe Medispas number one Injector.
PA to Dr Tavakoli - Shannon Moloney

In the role as Dr Tavakoli’s Personal assistant Shannon works very closely with all of his patients.
Shannon has been with Dr Tavakoli since his doors opened in March 07. Her role has progressed immensely since then and has now been broadened in all fields of the Clinic. From first contact through to the last post operative appointment Shannon will be by your side.
Due to the nature of Dr Tavakoli’s procedures Shannon understands how important it is to feel completely comfortable and welcomed in this environment. Shannon can assist you in every way possible whether it is in relation to appointments, accounts, questions about the upcoming surgery or just a quick phone call to ease your mind.

Beauty Therapist - Sonja Hawkins

Sonja is a beauty therapist with over 20years experience in the skincare industry Extensive training and practicle experience in IPL and laser treatments such as hair removal, vascular, treatments, photo-rejuvenation, fine lines, skin texture and pore size.

Dr Vincent DaSilva - BSc(Med) MBBS FANZCA

Dr DaSilva graduated from the University of NSW and spent the early part of his career in Intensive Care medicine before commencing his anaesthesia training at St George Hospital, Sydney. He also trained at The Royal Hospital for Women, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and St Vincent’s Hospital before completing his Fellowship year with NRMA CareFlight. Following this he worked as a retrieval specialist with NRMA CareFlight and the NSW Ambulance Helicopter Rescue Service. His current clinical profile includes anaesthesia for plastic surgery, bariatric and upper gastrointestinal surgery, obstetrics, colorectal and liver surgery. He has a special interest in anaesthesia for trauma surgery and anaesthesia in the elderly and critically ill.
Dr Patrick Chung - MBBS (Honours 1st Class), FANZCA
Dr Patrick Chung graduated from Sydney University in 1994 with First Class Honours. He trained in anaesthetics at various hospitals including Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Westmead Children’s Hospital and Concord Hospital. He was awarded his Fellowship to the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 2003.
He is currently accredited to perform both adult and paediatric anaesthesia at many public and private hospitals including Norwest Private Hospital, Macquarie University Hospital, Strathfield Private Hospital, Concord Hospital and Auburn Hospital.
He is keen to maintain and update his anaesthetic skills and knowledge by regularly attending various anaesthetic conferences including Neonatal Resuscitation Course 2004, Airway Management Technique Workshop 2007, Australian and New Zealand College Of Anaesthetists meeting 2008, Australian Society of Anaesthetists Annual Meeting 2011, Australasian Symposium on Ultrasound and Regional Anaesthesia March 2012.
He has a keen interest in the education of future anaesthetists and is an Anaesthetic Module Supervisor at Concord Hospital.
He presented at the ACI 3rd Orthogeriatric Symposium in November 2011 on “Best Anaesthetic Practice for Frail Orthopaedic Patients”.
His current anaesthetic practice includes anaesthesia for both adults and children in the fields of plastic and reconstructive surgery, orthopaedic surgery, maxillofacial surgery, ophthalmologic surgery, obstetrics and gynaecological surgery and urological surgery.
